Recent Impact

We have been working hard at the JHWTD Foundation to bring support to the community in Jake’s memory.

In November 2024, Stacey Haylett of Bloomfield, Connecticut, lost her 14-year-old son after he suffered sudden cardiac arrest during football practice. The JHWTD Foundation provided Stacey with a $3,500 grant to help ease financial burdens during this difficult time.

Last spring, the Riello family faced a life-changing challenge when their 14-year-old son, AJ, suffered a cardiac event in February 2025. The following month, he received a life-saving heart transplant. The JHWTD Foundation provided the family with a $4,000 grant to help cover expenses while AJ was receiving care at Boston Children's Hospital.

On Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the JHWTD Foundation raised $12,750 to purchase 15 AEDs for the Pittsfield Public Schools bus fleet.

In addition to our other efforts, we were proud to award three local student-athletes a total of $6,000 in college scholarships. Congratulations to each of these deserving recipients!

Thanks to all of our donors for helping to make this work possible.
