The 2nd Annual Jake Hescock Win the Day Golf Tournament was a wet start and ended with sunshine.

We would like to thank the following businesses for their sponsorship of the Win the Day Foundation Golf Tournament- Allegrone Companies, Becton Dickinson & Co, Berkshire Money Management, Elipsis Engineering, Gable Electric, Haddad Auto Group, Pittsfield Cooperative Bank, Pittsfield Pipers, & Smith Watson, for their contribution, which helped us raise $25,000.00 for our Second Annual Win the Day Foundation Golf Tournament in loving memory of Jake Hescock, is a crucial part of our mission to save lives.

The Hescock Family founded the Win the Day Foundation to provide critical resources and financial assistance to families of youth stricken by Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and to work with schools and the athletic community to ensure that preventive measures and screenings decrease the number of youth and young adults impacted by cardiovascular health.

In partnership with In A Heartbeat, a not-for-profit organization working to prevent sudden cardiac death in youth, The Win the Day Foundation provided its first free heart screenings at Taconic high school in October, 2024. 100 local youth were tested. The JH Win The Day Foundation was able to cover the $4000.00 fee for the equipment needed for the screenings.

In November, 2024, Who We Play For, a not-for-profit organization in Florida shared the story of 14-year-old, Jahkye Haylet from Bloomfield CT who tragically passed away on the football field during practice. The JH Win The Day Foundation provided his mother, Stacey, with a check for $3500.00 to help assist with burial services.

AJ Riello, a 14-year-old freshman at Pittsfield High School suffered a cardiac event in February, 2025. He was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Boston. In March of 2025, AJ received a heart transplant. The JH Win The Day Foundation presented the family with a $2000.00 check to help with necessary finances.

Three local high school football players from Pittsfield High School, Taconic, and Wahconah received checks for $2000.00 each to help with supplies needed for college.

We are able to act on these critical initiatives because of partners like you. Your contribution has allowed us to raise the necessary funds to begin our lifesaving work.

On behalf of the Foundation and everyone we work with, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you. Your continued involvement is vital as we strive to grow the Foundation and its mission-driven work.

Thank you for helping us win the day!

Thank you,

Jeff, Carey, & Luke Hescock
