Saving Young Hearts: $4,000 Grant Funds Cardiac Screenings for Local Students
This week, The Jake Hescock Win The Day Foundation took another critical step in protecting our community’s youth by presenting In A Heartbeat Foundation with a $4,000 check to provide life-saving cardiac screenings for middle and high school students in Pittsfield Public Schools.
Why This Matters
Like our foundation, In A Heartbeat is dedicated to preventing tragedies caused by sudden cardiac arrest—a silent threat that can affect even the healthiest young athletes. These screenings help detect underlying heart conditions early, giving students and families the power to act before it’s too late.
Gratitude & Partnership
A special thank you to Artie and Mike from In A Heartbeat for their tireless work to bring this program to our community—and to every donor who made this grant possible. Together, we’re turning grief into action and honoring Jake’s legacy by safeguarding futures.
